Any film that causes a woman to miscarry her child has got to be worth remembering. A woman actually blamed Freaks, a 1932 horror film featuring horrific sideshow freaks, for scaring her into miscarrying her child. The film was so shocking to test audiences, MGM shortened the 90 minute film to lessen the impact. But truly the film was about looking past the horror and seeing the beauty inside, or some crap that like. It’s a horror film, don’t read into it.
