7. Vespa

These cute motored scooters seem innocent, but an imaginative geek can turn the modest exterior into an exciting ride of their life.  We might not all pull a Jason Bourne, but it’s worth a try.

6. Segway

The anti-climatic revoutionizer of personal transportation might not have changed the world, but it’s still damn fun to ride.

5. Snow mobile

Playing in the show is always fun, but try it zooming around at 100 mph.  Suddenly sledding seems like a tame way to spend the afternoon.

4. Dune buggy

I’m not sure which is cooler - the buggy or the dunes.  It’s not often dunes fit anywhere into the common geek’s vacation time. But with big wheels and lots of leaping and jumping, it’s destined to be awesome.

3. Dirt bike

Motorcycles in the dirt combined the variety of childhood pastimes, danger and getting dirty.  It’s shocking how little we mature as geeks.

2. Jet ski

Dunes and dirt are nice, but the freedom of the sea wins overall.  Racing through waves to churning up whirlpools gives the jet ski unique features making it almost the best vehicle around.

1. sQuba car

James Bond has all the fun. Until now. Swiss designers Rinspeed have invented the sQuba, a car submarine.  The convertible featured scuba-like breathing equipment for the driver and passenger as they crawl through the depths up to 30 feet deep, just like in the movies.
