Comic book video games have well documented crapiness with a few shining gems. The problem is comic book geeks (like me) want these comic book games. We want to feel like Spider-Man, and Superman, and Batman. These are the comic books game that will best bring to life a new super hero experience.
7. Flash
A sandbox Central City might not be on everyone’s Christmas list, but it’s the only way to do Flash justice. This speedster needs a huge environment to zoom through, fighting Gorilla Grodd, Mirror Master, and Reverse Flash as he tries to save his
wife and kids (this is the Wally West Flash, Barry Allen’s unlockable). Key battles pit you against teamed up villains for high pressure boss battles.
6. Real Iron Man game
The recent Iron Man game unfortunately sucked. But this awesome character should be a video game staple. Let’s revamp the controls (more control, less speed) and focus the campaign on the Mandarin and his rag-tag group of baddies. The twist is this is an action/business simulation game.
In Mega Man-esque level choosing, you fight Whirlwind, Dreadknight, Crimson Dynamo, and more. Give us some epic boss battles with Fin Fang Foom and Ultimo and even a Dr. Doom sidequest.
The business sim comes from Tony Stark. You choose how to run Stark Enterprises, with some investments making the company more valuable and other investments making your armor more powerful. By running the company well, you make money in order to buy those upgrades and other armor types. If you run the company badly, Justin Hammer will buy it up and you won’t be able to upgrade your armor.
5. Deadpool
Marvel’s Merc without a Mouth is made of a grotesquely violent and hilariously vulgar video game with crisp combat right out of Devil May Cry. Deadpool’s sword and gun combat, mixed with a healing factor and teleportation make for a thrilling action experience. Missions focus on assassinations, but with more killing than stealth, and unhappy heroes ready to be featured bosses including Wolverine and Cable.
4. Green Lantern
The most powerful weapon in the universe sounds like a perfect set up for a video game. Traveling to dozens of planets, you as Hal Jordan but stop Sinestro and the Manhunters from taking over the universe. The deep combat system gives your a variety of ring powers from force blasts to shields to swords and green dragons. Different playable characters wield their rings in different ways - Jon Stewart is more physical while Kyle Rayner is more ring-focused (and visually creative).
Multiplayer is key, with Green Lantern Corp and Sinestro Corp space battles featuring your own custom built Corp member.
3. Heroclix strategy game
Heroclix but the strategy in super hero combat and we want this in digital form. Give us a good and evil campaign on a Final Fantasy Tactics like grid with terrain bonuses and complex 3D maps. As you play through the campaign, you unlock more heroes and henchmen, putting together your own unstoppable team. Include online and offline multiplayer, custom scenarios, and, the killer feature - mods. Let the gaming world customize the Heroclix experience like never before.
2. Marvel vs. DC
Screw this Mortal Kombat vs. DC joke. The standard and model for all other super hero fighting games is Marvel vs. Capcom with brightly colored sprites and blindingly over-the-top powers.
1. Real Batman game
Lego Batman will be close but oh so far from the Batman game we’ve (I’ve) been dreaming of. This free roam extravaganza should pack the entire city of Gotham, from Wayne Manor to Arkham Asylum to sewers to skyline letting the Dark Knight drive, fly, cycle, and boat his way to crime fighting. Make us you our CSI-lite detective skills to find all the major villains who’ve escaped from Arkham, from the Joker to Mr. Freeze. Each villain is their own mystery, giving the city tons of baddies to hunt down. Let’s even get some unlockable characters like Robin, Nightwing, and Batgirl. Stealth action games can be done. Let’s see it happen in a Bat suit.

I love comics and have recently found a graphic novel, better than any other. The book “Mateki: The Magic Flute” is created by final fantasy mastermind Yoshitaka Amano and its amazing, Definitely a must read for any comic/video game fan!
