Michael Sherrin began his career in self-promotion when he started an online comic book club at age ten. He learned web design to provide infrequent updates to his non-existent readers, creating dozens of comic book websites. As a result, Sherrin did not have sex until college. Sherrin attended Emerson College, graduating with a degree in magazine writing in 2006. Since then, he has been working as a web developer and looks to pursue graduate studies in the field of new media because he thinks being a college professor will get him respect. Sherrin wears his geek title as a badge of his individuality, creativity, and virginity, proud of his uncontrolled collecting and non-stop internet usage. Michael Sherrin has published more than 100 articles in moderately read publications like Boston.com, Out Magazine, and Wizard Magazine. Sometimes he was even paid for his work. Now Sherrin does Prodigeek for free, but hopes to sell-out soon. Maybe then he can get a date.

Even though I’m a little bitter I’m not nominated (anyone want to nominate me?), I felt it worth sharing this fun, Wired feature. Visit Wired’s site here to vote for their selection of sexy geeks. Why Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart aren’t on the top of the list, I’ll never know.

Forgive my infrequent posts. I have been busy helping launch Blue Egg, a fledgling e-media company helping inform the masses about green and sustainable living. Please check us out cause right now, they’re the reason I can pay the bills. And it’s for a good cause. Posts will get back on schedule soon…
Thanks for reading.
